Whoa! When I first looked the blueprint, the first objective seemed quite easy but how wrong I was. There were the “Kits” (in the objective 1.2) to read and those “Kits” had 337 pages worth of reading. Plus additional 65 pages from the linked documents. I tried to pickup few main points from each document to “My VCAP-DCD Exam Preparation” page. There was lot to read but they were good documents and I think I learned few things by reading them.
Objectives 1.1 and 1.3 focused to much more general design practices. Personally I find general design practices harder for me than vSphere specific subjects so I think I must still read little bit more on this subject. I also have used study guides from Florian Grehl and Mohammed Sabuwala to dive deeper to design part.
So, next there is Objective 2 – Create a vSphere Logical Design from an Existing Conceptual Design. I wonder what that will bring along…
